Each piece is made by hand in small workshops across Latin America, using regional techniques refined over generations and practiced daily by master artisans.
SILVER
Camino belt buckles are solid silver jewelry handmade in Taxco, Mexico. Our buckles are crafted from solid 950 silver, a higher silver content than traditional 925 sterling.
LEATHER
Each Camino belt strap is entirely handmade in Mexico City by master leather artisan Ulises Cruz. Our straps are cut from full grain leather; the strongest and most visually expressive layer of the hide.
COTTON
Camino’s cotton fabric has been recognized in a special exhibition at the Oaxaca Textile Museum as living textile art. Only a handful of artisan collectives on earth still produce fabric this way.
EMBROIDERY
Each design is drawn and stitched freehand by members of the Oaxacan Zapotec community, resulting in a level of detail and sculptural texture that cannot be replicated by machine.
